I believe my role as your Civil Marriage Celebrant is a very personal one and so this is the perfect opportunity to tell you a little bit about myself.

I was born in the Netherlands and came to Australia as a young child. My working background is in teaching, including School of the Air and as a teacher librarian. My working experiences have ensured that I have developed a confident, professional approach to public speaking and am renowned for being a very organized person with a good sense of humour.

I enjoy the company of friends and family and love to celebrate special events such as birthdays, marriages and anniversaries​.

I have been a celebrant since 2009 and have conducted over 200 ceremonies. The reason I chose to become a Marriage Celebrant is because weddings are such happy, special occasions. It is always a joy to be part of these wonderful ceremonies and I feel honoured and privileged to be part of these special days.
